Thoughts on inspiration

I have these great grassed out spots around my home. I love to take pictures of my paintings on them because it just feels so natural and beautiful. I don't know why i find comfort in this ...I just do. It makes them feel to me (paintings = them) part of the world. I 'm not sure anyone reads these so I guess I write them for myself. Like an open diary with the pages blowing in the wind. Oh well....

New work

So seem to be in the middle of a few paintings. I do wonder how many people like it better when I leave grass in the background? I like it and a few people have told me they like them so that feels good. I only ask because I want to start making prints....well more like posters. I feel the grass has a very college hippy feel to it but at the same point feels good on my eyes.
